Richie Jen, the popular Taiwanese singer and actor, has become extremely popular throughout Asia. In 2007 he performed at the Grand Convention of Sunrider in Hong Kong. Ruby Lin, the Taiwanese actress and singer, made her acting debut in a TV commercial in Taiwan. In 1996, after several supporting roles in Taiwanese TM dramas, she was a lead actress in the televisions series “Princess Returning Pearl" and its sequel, "Princess Returning Pearl II."
