They are household names in China and now two of that country’s hottest stars are hitting the stage at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino on December 25, 2010. Both Ha Yu and Akina Hong are singers and actors and present a very special concert on December 25th at 6:00p.m. with doors opening at 5:00p.m. The winter concert features traditional Chinese music sung by these two very recognizable celebrities of China. Akina Hong has starred in dozens of Chinese television series over the years. She received her break in the burgeoning Chinese show business after appearing as a contestant in the 1997 Miss Hong Kong Pageant. Akina Hong has also been recognized by music critics in her native country. She entertains audiences of all sizes during live shows. She is currently touring the West Coast with stops in the Sacramento, CA area and southern California.
Seen by audiences on television in China since 1974, Ha Yu is one of the country’s most beloved celebrities. Appearing as a character actor on countless television dramas and series, he went on to host a popular variety show, translated to mean “An Evening with the Stars.” Yu has won several awards for his on screen work and has also entered the music world. He tours frequently and is currently appearing on stage with Chinese actress and singer Akina Hong.
